The best campsite we've ever been to! The atmosphere is so welcoming and warm, everyone is so nice! The facilities are lovely, we stayed non electric and had no problems. There's a freezer, washing machines, microwave, and kettle ext all supplied by Anchor Barrow, and the barn is full of sockets for your devices! The toilet block was cleaned regularly throughout the day, nice warm water for showers too. While we were there (Thursday to Sunday), they had live music on every night and food in the morning and evening. Saturday was a big BBQ, and honestly, the atmosphere was fantastic. So many happy people! The food was absolutely delicious. We opted to eat here instead of finding anywhere in town! All in all, I was really impressed with the stay. Everyone we chatted to was singing this campsites praises to! You're on to a winner, Anchor Barrow!

Absolutely fantastic and accessible site. Stayed here a couple of times now. The music and food options are great, as well as the shop and bar. The communal area is great of an evening and the barn so we can escape the tent if the weather is bad. Toilets and showers are clean and of a good standard. Great that we can access fridges, freezer and washing machines too. There honestly hasn’t been a single thing that hasn’t been considered for the guests. Walks down to the town/ beach and ruins are also absolutely stunning and there is plenty to do in the local area.

Such a friendly, relaxed campsite with lovely staff. Fridges are great for being able to bring first few nights' dinners from home then treated ourselves with a BBQ at our tent with freshly delivered sausages and kebabs, as well as the on site food including a particularly yummy chicken curry. Plenty of space, hot showers, and a well stocked on site shop. We love being able to walk the coast path to the beach and not get in the madness of high season parking! 3rd year in a row here and sure we'll make it 4 next year. Thanks to all at Anchor Barrow.

Had 5 nights including storm Betty and survived. Great location and set up. The barn is great for kids with table tennis and long benches to eat and socialise. We didn’t use the bar or coffee truck as we were on a budget. But great if you want to camp and not bring your own food and drink. The set up is great for groups. Music is a great addition. My only negative was our location. We were on the pitch by the main road and could be noisy if a lorry or fast car drove by especially in the early hours. Shower facilities spotless.
